COLUMBUS, Ohio (April 15, 2015) – Ocean Prime Indianapolis, the award-winning restaurant, is excited to announce that Jeremy Devine has been named as the restaurant’s new general manager. Devine brings more than 20 years of industry experience, and has been with the company since 2013.
“Jeremy is an exemplary leader and brings more than two decades of industry experience to the management team in Indianapolis,” said Mark Weiss, regional director, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. “He is always professional and is a true example of how genuine hospitality makes a difference to all people. He continually makes sure that everyone feels like they’re part of a family and provides guests with a positive and rewarding dining experience.”
Devine, born and raised in Indianapolis, started working in restaurants when he was 16-years-old and has since held many positions in several local restaurants. He has worked as a busser, host, server, bartender and assistant general manager. He began working in fine dining restaurants in 2008 at The Oceanaire Seafood Room in downtown Indianapolis for three years, and then worked at Morton’s The Steakhouse for one year before joining the Ocean Prime team as the dining room manager.
“I am excited to lead the Ocean Prime team and build upon the success our restaurant has already achieved,” Devine said. “I have no doubt in my mind that we’re one of Indianapolis’s best restaurants and will continue to build relationships with my team and our guests as we have always done.” Devine will be responsible for managing the daily restaurant operations, will lead a team of 63 associates and be tasked with ensuring guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
