KANSAS CITY, Mo. (November 16, 2021) – Prime Social, a lively and dynamic rooftop cocktail lounge and the latest concept to launch from the award-winning Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, is set to open to guests today. Located atop the Country Club Plaza’s most recent development, 46 Penn Centre, Prime Social delivers an elevated dining experience with a stunning rooftop view of Kansas City.

Hospitality is at the very heart of the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants philosophy, which means guests will feel like VIPs whether celebrating with friends, relaxing by the firepit, or enjoying cocktails at the bar.

The Prime Social menu includes impressive signature cocktails, craft beers from local KC breweries, and wines from around the world. Guests can choose from a variety of small plate fare, including hand-rolled sushi, A5 Wagyu (the highest grade of the finest beef), colorful Ahi tuna & buttery salmon.

On the heels of Prime Social’s opening, the nationally acclaimed Ocean Prime restaurant – and Cameron Mitchell Restaurant’s second concept to launch in Kansas City – is set to open in early 2022.

Mitchell founded his company in 1993, and it has now grown to 18 brands across 60 restaurants.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Alejandra Landin, the from-scratch kitchen will provide guests with a premium dining experience that includes the highest quality ingredients, as well as simple, pure, local and regional flavors. Landin joined the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants family in 2015. Most recently, she served as Sous Chef at the popular Ocean Prime restaurant in Dallas, Texas.

Travis Cusack will lead the front of house as General Manager. Cusack has held a myriad of positions at various restaurants since 2002 and began working with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants in 2018 at Ocean Prime’s Denver Tech Center location.

Beginning Tuesday, November 16, Prime Social will keep the following hours:

• Tuesday – Thursday, 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday, 4:00 p.m. – Midnight
• Sunday, 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
