Highly-anticipated second location of Mediterranean fine-dining concept scheduled to open spring 2024
COLUMBUS, Ohio (February 5, 2024) – With the success of Del Mar in Naples, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) is bringing the popular fine dining Mediterranean concept to its hometown of Columbus in spring 2024. Del Mar will open at 4089 The Strand East, Columbus, OH 43219, centrally located within Easton Town Center.
Inspired by Mediterranean coastal cuisine, Del Mar will feature flavors from a variety of southern European countries, with a rotating and seasonal made-from-scratch menu that showcases a variety of seafood accompanied by fresh produce, house-made cheeses, rich olive oil and earthy spice blends. Handcrafted cocktails with refreshing flavors will pair perfectly with the dishes and invite guests to relax amongst a scene of lush greenery and European-inspired architecture.

Del Mar at Easton will capture the vivid culture and complex region of the coastal Mediterranean, with sandy earth tones, mango wood and terracotta featured across the architecture and interiors. The 9,400-square-foot restaurant will yield 300 seats and feature two floors of dining, two bars, a four-seasons patio and two second-floor exterior terraces. Additionally, two formal private dining rooms will be available for varying group sizes, and the entire second floor will be available for private events.
Del Mar opened in Naples in December 2021 as the restaurant company’s first foray into Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. The concept was an instant success with Florida locals and tourists alike, highlighting a fine-dining culinary experience that brings together a variety of coastal flavors and a top-notch environment. The concept is being designed by CMR Director of Design Randy Roberty in collaboration with firms Design Collective (Columbus) and Studio K (Chicago).
Central Ohio guests can look forward to a menu similar to Del Mar in Naples, including shareable dips and spreads, flatbreads, chilled shellfish and entrees prepared on a wood-fired grill. Most popular is the Lamb Tagine, prepared in the hearth and made for sharing family style. Del Mar at Easton will offer a beverage program with bright, palate-cleansing cocktails and a robust wine list featuring world-class wines from around the globe.
Del Mar will be open for weekday lunch, weekend brunch and dinner nightly.
