J.R. Dehring is the Chief Financial Officer and Operating Partner for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR), where he oversees accounting, finance and technology operations across the company’s portfolio of restaurants. With extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, investor relations and capital markets, Dehring plays a key role in supporting CMR’s continued growth and operational excellence.
Career Journey
Dehring joined the CMR team in December 2018 with more than 15 years of financial experience. Earlier in his career, he spent six years in public accounting at Grant Thornton and PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining IGS Energy, where he worked his way up to Vice President of Finance.

Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Dehring grew up in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. His education and professional involvement include:

When he isn’t working, Dehring enjoys cooking with his family, following the stock market and spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and daughter, Ava. He can also be found rooting for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Twins, Boston Bruins and Columbus Blue Jackets — a unique blend of team allegiances gathered from the cities where he has lived.
