Cameron Mitchell Restaurants is excited to announce the opening of a new OCEAN PRIME location in Naples, Florida in December, 2016. OCEAN PRIME is the award-winning modern American restaurant and lounge from renowned restaurateur Cameron Mitchell with 12 locations around the country, opening its 13th in Washington, D.C this Fall. The 8,000 square foot Naples space will be the 14th location of the OCEAN PRIME concept, and the 3rd in Florida, with locations already open in Tampa and Orlando.

“We’re excited to bring the OCEAN PRIME experience to Naples,” said David Miller, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. “Naples is known for its high-end shopping, world-class culture and sophisticated dining, and we’re thrilled to bring our refined menu and genuine hospitality to the city.”

OCEAN PRIME’s menu specializes in pairing incredible seafood and prime steaks, with delectable sushi, appetizers and desserts. Among these items are the Prime Roll, tempura shrimp, cream cheese, scallion and beef carpaccio; Alaska Halibut, with lobster ravioli, asparagus, and sweet corn emulsion; Blackened Snapper with corn spoon bread and jalapeno tartar; Black Truffle Mac and Cheese, and the famous Ten Layer Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing and pineapple syrup.

The new restaurant will be a remodel of Avenue 5 by Mark Knauer, President and Founder of Knauer Incorporated that features two private dining rooms, one seating 44 and the other 82. The eatery will also feature two expansive dining rooms, seating 32 and 50, as well as a bar area that fits 40 plus 30 bar stools, all with large windows that open outdoors.

“One of the reasons I love our OCEAN PRIME concepts is because each location is inspired and designed by the city they are in, and Knauer helps bring it to life,” said Cameron Mitchell, CEO and Founder of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants.

“It’s humbling to have the opportunity to work on another project and continue this partnership with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. I look forward to bringing an essence of the Gulf Coast and white sand beaches of Naples to the newest space,” said Mark Knauer.

Conveniently located at 699 5th Avenue South in Naples, in the boutique Inn on Fifth hotel, the restaurant will be open seven days a week. The restaurant will be open for lunch beginning at 11:00 A.M. and dinner will commence at 5:00 P.M. Additionally, the restaurant will feature live music, and provide in-room dining to hotel guests during hours of operation.
