CMR Restaurants to Open a New Restaurant Concept in the Short North

The Wood Companies today announced that Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) has signed a lease to develop a new restaurant concept at 698 N. High Street in the Short North Arts District. The new restaurant concept is projected to open in spring 2018.

This concept will be the fourth restaurant concept that CMR has developed with The Wood Companies. Other collaborations include The Pearl and two planned new concepts located at 711 N. High Street, which are anticipated to open in fall 2018.

711 N High Street will be the tallest building in the Short North Arts District with a ground floor restaurant, a rooftop restaurant and 87,000 square feet of Class-A office space. Pillar Technology has signed a lease for 25,000 square feet.

“It is an honor to work with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants on another destination restaurant that will offer an additional new dining experience to the Short North,” said Mark Wood, president of The Wood Companies. “We held this space for a long time, and turned away a lot of users who did not have the same vision for the neighborhood that we did. This new concept will add even more energy to this block in its strategic and highly visible location across the street from the 711 N High office tower.”
