The third location of the concept is slated to open spring 2027
COLUMBUS, Ohio (May 28, 2026) – Today, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants announced plans to expand the local footprint of Hudson 29 Kitchen + Drink (Hudson 29) by adding a new location at The Fitzgerald in Bexley.
Hudson 29 Bexley is expected to open in the spring of 2027. The 5,500-square-foot restaurant will feature 178 seats, including 42 seats on a covered and heated patio designed for year-round dining and gathering. Located on the ground floor of The Fitzgerald, the mixed-use building at 2200 E Main St. offers convenient guest access with a parking garage located directly behind the restaurant.
“We’re proud to bring Hudson 29 to Bexley and be part of the momentum surrounding The Fitzgerald development,” said David Miller, president and COO of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and Bexley resident. “Hudson 29 was designed as a polished neighborhood gathering place and it has proven to be a beloved concept with strong growth potential. We also are excited to introduce some new design finishes as the brand continues to evolve. We look forward to welcoming Bexley residents and visitors to come connect, celebrate and make memories that last.”
“We are so glad to have Hudson 29 in Bexley,” added The Fitzgerald developer Frank Kass.
The new Bexley location will mark the third for the concept. Hudson 29 Upper Arlington opened at The Lane mixed-use development in March 2014, and Hudson 29 New Albany opened in the Market & Main development in April 2015.
Named for the storied Hudson River Valley, home of the Culinary Institute of America, and the route that winds through Napa Valley, Hudson 29 is a collection of great flavors and influences from both. It is known for its approachable atmosphere, polished service and chef-driven menu, offering a contemporary neighborhood dining experience for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch alongside an extensive wine list and handcrafted cocktails.
